Why Universal Basic Income Should Be a Human Right Description: This action project was for 9th grade SDG's ( sustainable development goals) class unit 1. For this action project I was required to write an essay on why a human need should be a human right and it must relate to either SDG 1,2, or 4. These include poverty, world hunger, and quality education respectively. I chose poverty ( SDG 1). My solution was UBI ( Universal Basic Income). I believe UBI should be a human right. My mom was a child of seven, and my grandparents are very poor, evicted countless times, and almost never had clean clothes for any of their children or them.
