  Hello reader, this is my action project for Drama third unit 3 at GCE Lab school. During this unit my classmates and I learned about what a patriarch is,specifically the difference between a matriarch and a patriarch. We also learned about racism, classism, redlining, and assimilation.   We looked further into these concepts by reading the play "A Raisin In The Sun”  which is a play about a household matriarch named Mama who became a widow after her husband died. Due to his death she received a large amount of insurance money. Mama is the matriarch to a family of 5. This black family of 5 decides to move to an all white neighborhood in Chicago but it did not end well. For this project I created a Greek chorus. A Greek chorus is a group of people portraying the emotions and beliefs of the majority about what is happening in a particular scene of a play.  Hello reader, this is my action project for unit #1 of drama class at GCE lab school. During this course we have read " The Tragedy of Macbeth" by William Shakespeare. The story of a broken hero Macbeth who was told he would be crowned king if he killed the current king. We see the struggle Macbeth faces after he has killed the king. He later developed a real taste for killing. Such as he later goes on to kill several other characters without true necessity. We learn of the kings true heirs  combating Macbeth's rain of terror and reclaiming there rightful  seat on the thrown. Also in this class we talked a lot about gender roles and what constitutes a "queen". Our general consensus is that a queen is a person with feminine energy who is in power with strong influence over a large group of people or a society.
