Water Infographic 10/9/2020 FK

 This is my action project for my water class unit 1. For this project I was supposed to create an infographic, said infographic is supposed to contain my daily water usage and it broken up into 4 categories put into a neat graph, my water usage compared to another country of my choosing, how long it would take to carry my daily water usage from a water source near my home and or school, and all of this in in gallons, liters and pounds. The country I choose to compare to was Brazil

  GMO’s. Ok ok, before you think I’m some hippie who’s here to tell you how awful GMO’s are I’m actually here to tell you the opposite and i believe they are totally fine. But first some background info. I am a student at GCE lab school, this is my action project for my 3rd term of food class. During this class we discussed a man named Norman Borlaug. Norman Borlaug was an american scientist who introduced new, disease-free wheat to India and solved hunger there. FK AP Unit #1 Food

  Hello reader, This is my action project for Food unit #1. For this assignment I was supposed to take 3 everyday containers and plant bean seeds. 1 of which was filled with “good soil” or soil from a store, as opposed to the other 2 which were filled with “ bad soil” or soil from my backyard ( I actually used soil from my garden). Once we have done this we were assigned to ask questions about what will happen. Then create a hypothesis ( what we think will happen). Now a little about the course. Food is a STEAM course which stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. We used fuel as a medium to learn these topics. The 2 main lessons we learned in class revolved around math and science, biology in particular. FK Action Project For A Nations Argument Unit#1 "One Should Know How To Sharpen Their Bows And String Their Swords"

Hello Reader, This is my action project for the first unit of "A Nation's Argument class", a humanities course in which we study how arguments are composed and their use throughout history, particularly in the establishment of nations. This unit's central question was "How is a country reasoned into existence?" In order to understand how an argument is constructed using premises and conclusions, we looked to the Declaration of Independence. On top of that, we discovered what deductive reasoning is and how it uses principles to support claims. We had the opportunity to speak with the principal of a Montessori school during our external research and learn more about the values that guide the teaching of children at his and other Montessori schools. For this AP I created my own declaration of independence to study physiology and why it is my right as a student do so. Enjoy!
