FK Water Filter Unit#2 Action Project Water Class 11/17/20
As you can see this is a photo of my water filter. I used a tea kettle and drilled a hole in it and inserted a piece of quarter inch copper piping that I coiled around a water bottle. Unfortunately this does not work very well because the epoxy heat proof coating I use to seal the copper to the stainless steel cracked and steam leaks out of it. So in order to fix this I ended up using the spigot that was already on the kettle and luckily I had a compression knob lying around and put the compression knob on the spigot and put the spigot in a bowl that I covered with a silicone Bowl cover and was able to get about 2 to 3 tablespoons of water however I could have gotten more.

I chose to do a desalination filter because when I live on what my classmates call Frankie's Island I will have to desalinate water to be able to drink it so I thought I might use a desalination filter for this project.
