FK Action Project for Population Unit#3 " Lobsters"

Image
Hello reader, this is my Action project for population unit 3. For this assignment we were supposed to select an organism of our choice ( I chose a lobster),  list it’s  name, habitat (with a picture), and extinct ancestor ( also with a picture). We were then supposed to compare an organism to it’s extinct ancestor, ask three guiding questions about the organism (one of which must be quantitative such as how much does your organism weigh?), create a set of data points and say the mean, median, standard deviation, first quartile, third quartile, variance, state are process on how we got all those numbers, create a box and whisker plot, create a new eniverment for the organism and say how it would do and site all of are sources       Lobsters or Homarus americanus evolved from an extinct Aegirocassis benmoulae, a 7 foot long ( idk what to call this beast) thing Around 409 million years ago in the Atlantic ocean was the first lobs...

Critical Race Theory

Image
Critical race theory is an academic movement made by scholars  during the civil rights movement. What critical race theory is, has been changed many times throughout the years. Modern critical race theory is believed ( by some) to teach anti whiteness to children.  But others believe critical or necessary to be a reflection on race in general and is ment to unteach racist beliefs. How has CRT been politicized?  Well I believe that CRT has always been seen as political because race itself  has always been political. USA today found that 8 out of 10 parents who identify as democrats believe their children should learn about slavery and its modern day impact whereas 4 out of 10 parents who identify as republican di9sagree.   A person who dors not believe that CRT is political  would say that race isn't political because it's people's lives and that can't be political. I believe that race should not be political but sadly it is. " Race has been a definin...

FK Unit#2 Action Project for stories " The Tail of The Arrogant Lion " 10/18/21

This is my unit#2 action project for stories. For this action project I was supposed to create a fable that has characters with anthropomorphic features and a strong, clear moral. I chose to make my characters lions because they represent the moral of my story. The moral of my fable is arrogance comes with consequences, and humility comes with rewards. I chose lions because I believe lions are the most arrogant animal. This is a fable about a lion named Brian who is very arrogant but also very insecure.  This is a fable version of a previous action project.   Enjoy! The Tail of The Arrogant Lion      Brian is a lion so arrogant he gets self conscious when he doesn’t receive validation from others. Brian likes hearing that “that's the right answer”. Brian loves when he is right and the other lions are wrong. He loves hearing the female lions complement Brian's beautiful fur, his strong claws, and loud, frightening roar. Brian believes he is sp...

This is my action project for a class called population at GCE Lab School. For this assignment I was told to pick an organism ( I chose bulldog) and say it's taxonomy/morphology, compare it to two other organisms( I chose a lobster and a kinkajou because there my favorite animal  with a ven diagram and set notation, and create a physical representation of are organism's taxonomy ( I did a drawn diagram of a bulldogs insides) . But first I will tell you a little about the bulldog. The bulldog or Canis Lupus ( in binomial nomanclature) is a species of dog that is moderate in size and has a very small tail. I chose it simply because I have one named Gravy and I love him.  Now enjoy!  The   English   bulldog   is   a   brawny   little   powerhouse   whose   characteristic   crablike   waddle   exudes   great   strength ,  stability   and   vigor . The   ears   are   thin ...
