FK Action Project for Forbidden Books Unit#1 " Covid - 19 Socratic Interviews"

Hello reader, this is my action project for forbidden books unit one.. For this action project I was assigned to work with a partner to do an interview using the Socratic method. The Socratic method uses questions to find deeper answers we might not know at face value. For this interview we were supposed to select an open ended topic. My partner and I chose the Covid - 19 pandemic. Enjoy.



NO: Do you think that covid has affected the evolutionary course that Humanity had taken pre - pandemic?


FK: Absolutely, many people conspire that there is a large pandemic / epidemic every hundred years and the history is showing that is true so covid-19 will definitely affect the modern society and so it’s detrimental to the world.


NO: Do you think that in the future will be better prepared or make the same mistakes and trip over our own feet again? We will make the same mistakes and trip over our own Feet Again?

NO: Why?


FK: Because we have every time, when we find a solution for a disease it finds a way to evolve. It’s like a Pokemon.


NO: Do you think we are going to be able to find a general cure to every kind of ailment, do you think we can make the human body immune to the broader subjective ailments?


FK: Until we live in tubes no, to expand on that I believe that Humanity will evolve to be encapsulated in tubes and have the end have the air that we breathe filtered through like….. 25 million microns.


NO: Do you think that if we're living in tubes it's really living ?


FK: it’s not living if humans want to really live not just survive than we disease, diseases is just little different cells that aren't human, pandemics stem from communicable diseases, I think in order for us to be human we have many pieces of bacteria living in our stomachs, bacteria living in our mouths, bacteria living in our brain, we have bacteria all over our bodies that aren’t even human cells, so I think in order to live properly we need diseases it’s just what are good ones and witch are bad ones.

 FK: Overall my opinion has changed i thought that the eradication of all disease would be a good thing but i realized that we need so forms of it to function and LIVE not SURVIVE.

Hello reader! This is my action project for Design & Engineering unit 2. This unit I learned about the design process, gears, circles, ellipses, the ethics of design, gear ratios, and much more. This unit we went on a lot of great FE's but the FE to Dyson was really great in my opinion because we got to work WITH design not just have them talk to us then us doing nothing with it. Something I am very proud of this unit is my interview because I put a lot of work in to it. For this project I was given a persona to design a bike for based off the situation the person is in. The purpose of this project is to use all the information we have learned this unit on a real world problem being solved by others around the world but in our own GCE kind of way. FK Action Project For "Food Class" Unit 3 "GMO's"

  GMO’s. Ok ok, before you think I’m some hippie who’s here to tell you how awful GMO’s are I’m actually here to tell you the opposite and i believe they are totally fine. But first some background info. I am a student at GCE lab school, this is my action project for my 3rd term of food class. During this class we discussed a man named Norman Borlaug. Norman Borlaug was an american scientist who introduced new, disease-free wheat to India and solved hunger there. Thanks to Norman Borlaug Morocco has much better yields of wheat.  During this class we also discussed probability for a little bit, and connecting it to Punnett squares.
