For this Action project I was assigned to draw and write a storyboard for my final presentation project. This means I would draw a picture of scenes in my final presentation video which is a video made by me and my upperclassmen discussing one of the 17 SDG’s. The other freshmen and I are taking the lead in our groups for final presentations because we are currently in a class called SDG’s and you ( this is the class this assignment is for). My upperclassmen and I decided to do our final presentation on SDG 6 ( clean water and sanitation). Our idea for this project was we would do a virtual political Summit of the four countries with the most problems surrounding clean water and access to it. These countries include Papua New Guinea, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Entriea. Well we tried to use this final presentation video as a platform to spread information about clean water and sanitation.   As you can see this is a photo of my water filter. I used a tea kettle and drilled a hole in it and inserted a piece of quarter inch copper piping that I coiled around a water bottle. Unfortunately this does not work very well because the epoxy heat proof coating I use to seal the copper to the stainless steel cracked and steam leaks out of it. So in order to fix this I ended up using the spigot that was already on the kettle and luckily I had a compression knob lying around and put the compression knob on the spigot and put the spigot in a bowl that I covered with a silicone Bowl cover and was able to get about 2 to 3 tablespoons of water however I could have gotten more.  Before filter:                                               After filter:                  Before filter:           ...

   H ello reader, I am a 9th grader at GCE Lab School. This was my unit 2 action project for my SDG’s ( Sustainable development goals) class. For this project I was assigned to write an essay on gender equality. There are many subtopics that fall under this such as, the wage gap, women's Health rights, gender stereotypes and domesticity, and women's athletics. I chose to do women's athletics specifically women's boxing. I was also assigned to compare and contrast the United States to another country of my choosing. The country I chose to compare contrast was Sweden.  This is my action project for my water class unit 1. For this project I was supposed to create an infographic, said infographic is supposed to contain my daily water usage and it broken up into 4 categories put into a neat graph, my water usage compared to another country of my choosing, how long it would take to carry my daily water usage from a water source near my home and or school, and all of this in  in gallons, liters and pounds.        Why Universal Basic Income Should Be a Human Right Description: This action project was for 9th grade SDG's ( sustainable development goals) class unit 1. For this action project I was required to write an essay on why a human need should be a human right and it must relate to either SDG 1,2, or 4. These include poverty, world hunger, and quality education respectively. I chose poverty ( SDG 1). My solution was UBI ( Universal Basic Income). I believe UBI should be a human right.         My mom was a child of seven, and my grandparents are very poor,  evicted countless times, and  almost never had clean clothes for any of their children or them.
