Some Journeys are humorous, some are odd, this Is both.      Hello dear reader! How are you? Good? I don’t care! Anyway, today we shall discuss the story of an Irish woman who cannot be killed. I'm a student at GCE Lab school. I wrote this story for Stories class. In this class we are learning about how to write a good fictional story. We learned about a stories essential elements such as setting/world building ,character development,and plot.   Hello reader, For the first action project of 2021 - 22 year at GCE Lab School, everyone was divided into groups and sent to a classroom to modify it for the upcoming school year. Each group had basically no budget to do this project due to the fact that the school recently purchased a new space, meaning everything had to come from the building or a group member's house. Now the reason. The reason the school decided to allow the students to  redo the classrooms is because they will be the ones learning in it and since we don’t have a budget to make it crazy and since we were in highschool they believed we could handle it. My group was assigned the Screening Room and the Cooler ( the spaces are attached). Hello reader, On 8/31/21 I went on a field experince to Maggie daley park to listen to different sound pieces. The reason we did this was because we wanted to learn the importance of sound in learning. We often only think of learning we are eyes but rarely are ears. This field experience we focused on sound. So to show you what I learned, I made a sound edit that's only 9 seconds long, but it contains sounds surrounding the experience. I combined the noises of feet walking to the train station,the train,eating lunch at the park drum sound, birds flapping its wings, the train, and back to campus through the gravel of the parking lot.

  GMO’s. Ok ok, before you think I’m some hippie who’s here to tell you how awful GMO’s are I’m actually here to tell you the opposite and i believe they are totally fine. But first some background info. I am a student at GCE lab school, this is my action project for my 3rd term of food class. During this class we discussed a man named Norman Borlaug. Norman Borlaug was an american scientist who introduced new, disease-free wheat to India and solved hunger there. Thanks to Norman Borlaug Morocco has much better yields of wheat.  During this class we also discussed probability for a little bit, and connecting it to Punnett squares. We also discussed plant reproduction, such as the parts of male and female plants like the stigma, and the stamen.      Hello reader, this is my Action project for ‘Food For Thought” class unit #3 . For this project I was assigned to recreate a dish at a restaurant I enjoy at home. I chose to recreate the Pho from a restaurant called Phodega. Once we had finished recreating it we would taste both of them and either film a video or write an essay on the two dishes. I decided to do a video. In my video I describe the two dishes with certain ayurvedic adjectives and talk about the ingredients and whether they are organic or not. Hello reader, this is my unit to Action project for “ Food for thought”. food for thought is my third term, freshman year Humanities class at GCE lab school. We've done some pretty cool things in this class. In particular we went on some pretty awesome field experiences. Those consist of a trip to a place called plant Chicago where we're introduced to an aquaponics system. Also, we went to a place called Uncommon Ground which is a restaurant / rooftop garden where we interacted with many nutritious plants, and a really awesome radiant hydronic thermal solar system. For this project I was assigned to write an opinion paper on one of the subcategories of SDG 2 ( I chose 2.1 “ No Hunger”) And propose a solution to help the cause. Introduction:  Hello reader, this is my unit#2 action project for food class. In food class we have done some pretty cool experiments, field experiences, and group discussions. We went to a restaurant/rooftop garden called Uncommon Ground where we interacted with the plants and their really cool garden systems like their drip irrigation system, and radiant hydronic thermal solar heating system. as far as experiments go, we did stuff like make brownies with applesauce instead of egg to see if it work as an emulsifying agent, or when we mixed baking soda with vinegar to see if it would make an efficient leavening agent compared to baking powder with just water, or when we switched out ground beef for mashed lentils in a meatball recipe ( it was so good). Which brings me to the project. The assignment was to switch out either a leavening agent, emulsifying agent, or a protein source. for another one ( like in previous experiments).
